PAST AND PRESENT

I don't really have the time to go into anything particularly new or interesting today, so I just thought I'd post this sample from one of my older sketchbook entries along with a recent waterccolor painting.
Neither of them relate in any way, but somehow I thought they went well together.
If you click on the image you can see it in larger form - it makes the text easier to read. Nothing can be done, however, about my horrible handwriting.

I think it's cool you keep a dream journal. The way I see it, these are freebee ideas so one should take advantage right?

That's a freakishly good watercolor by the way....

All of us should keep dream journals. I dream about the strangest shit and NEVER remember any of it once I've been up for more than 5 minutes or so - and then it's lost and all I can remember is that it was a really wicked dream. You already know I love that painting.

I don't actually keep a dream journal regularly... in fact, I very rarely remember my dreams. Consequently, when I do remember one, I try to write it down... it just doesn't happen very often.
This one struck me as profound somehow... you could probably draw all sorts of different interpretations, but I'll spare you my babble on that.
Anyway - thanks for the compliments on the painting. I like drawing and painting faces.

Okay - I really love that painting. You're not allowed to sell it. Really. Not allowed. I said so.

Just so everyone knows, that painting IS for sale - visit the "Fountains Pen Productions" site for details.

Don't listen to him. He lies. It's NOT for sale.

Can I be the dream interpter?
I think it's about your own fears within yourself. Being a consumer of something or persuing something and devouring things you might fear and regret later on. In the end you feel misunderstood or monster like because others fear you or don't understand you. Write down what you feel after you wake up that the best way to figure out what your dreams say about your life. But since your dream is very old from 1999. I wouldn't worry much. IF you haven't had any bad dreams lately then your most like happy and content!

Sorry about my spelling I never really was much of a speller!
